Scarlett ran into this morning so excited to share a very special leaf that she found on the way to school. We had Morning Meeting in the Sunflowers classroom with the Daisies' and the Sunflowers' class. We made a rainstorm using our hands and feet. Next we sang 5 Green and Speckled Frogs subtracting one number on the erase board as they jumped into the pond.
After Dance with Elizabeth, we read The Museum by Susan Verde and Miffy the Artist by Dick Bruna. When we finished reading, Brandon and Max painted collaboratively together using acrylic paint on canvas. Scarlett made an amazing piece of art by painting her leaf onto canvas using purple acrylic paint. Hudson drew on canvas using a black marker. He wrote the letter "A" and also made a bassoon.
After Project Work, Scarlett dressed up with her baby and took the bus to work. Max cooked Hudson breakfast in the kitchen while Brandon worked very hard on the alphabet puzzle. During lunch, we read The Cat In the Hat by Dr. Seuss.
