My name is Nadira Persaud (but everyone calls me Nadia) and I am the co-teacher in the Sweetpeas classroom. For the past few years I have been working with infants, toddlers and 4 year olds at the BMS Tribeca location. This is my first year teaching at the 13th street location and I am excited about being a part of this new community.
Prior to my experience as an educator, I worked with Alzheimer's patients for 16 years.
I have two grandchildren that are two and three years old whom I absolutely adore. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending most of my time with them. In the classroom, I enjoy reading stories, movement, art, and creative play. I am very much looking forward to an exciting and wonderful year with your children.
