Second Day of School

Today Max and Hudson had their first day of school. They were eager to explore the classroom and meet new friends.  We marched to We Are to the Dinosaurs and The Goldfish by The Laurie Berkner Band, dug in the sandbox, and we began to decorate our place mats. It was a wonderful second day of school. At the end of the morning we were invited into the Sunflowers' classroom to watch a circus performance by the other children. Hudson even joined in the show as he played the drums and the cymbals! We are so proud of the children for beginning to feel so comfortable and witnessing new friendships forming through each other's interests.  

First Day of School

The children had a wonderful first day at school. We noticed the children exploring the different areas of the classroom as well as familiarizing themselves with new materials.

This morning we made play dough and the children each choose a color of their choice.   Next, they were introduced to dot dot paints and were excited to pound the paint and see it"splat." As Jamie used the paints, I heard him say, "Look! I made a dot!"  We had such a fun-filled morning and are looking forward to another wonderful day tomorrow!

Orientation Day

Dear Parents,
